Crusader’s time (1050-1250 AD..).
Cross found in silver with traces of gold plating. The cross was found on Lindegaarden’s fields near Vejstrup, Funen, by amateur archaeologist Knud Erik Christensen in the spring of 2020.
The cross was a religious symbol in Denmark, at the same time as Christianity became a state religion.
In this period it was not uncommon that both crosses and Thor Hammer were worn side by side as an additional security
