Viking period (800-1050 AD)
Motif, called Odin's Mask, from rune stone found in the
foundation of Aarhus old watermill in Mølleparken in 1850.
On the stone was also the following inscription in runes:
"Gunulv and Øgot and Aslak and Rolf raised this stone after
their colleague, Ful. He found death ... when kings were fighting”.
The stone is now at Moesgård Museum.
