Viking Age (800-1050 AD).
Found at Kongens Udmark, Bornholm. Unique braided pendant from this period. The Vikings have left many traces behind in foreign settlements, and they have brought to Denmark imports from many countries.
The woman always wore a pair of shoulder brooches or buckles, that would fasten the beautiful material often woven in addition adorn herself richly with bronze, silver and gold jewelry imported, or manufactured by Danish craftsmen.
