765-2 Yggdrasil, - The Tree of Life.
In Norse mythology, the World Tree Yggdrasil is a mighty ash tree, or perhaps rather the everlasting green Yr/plain taks. Yggdrasil, the World Tree, goes from crown to mess through the world’s three levels: Sky, Earth and underworld. It is in the middle of the world as a sort of world pillar. Odin’s attachment to the tree is shown in the name. ”Yggdrasil” means ”Ygg’s horse”, and Ygg is one of Odin’s many nicknames.
